Mike talks on Rom 7:14-25 and how we often succumb to sin. He looks at a number of examples of people in the Bible who were drawn to do ‘stupid things’ by the influence of sin.

You and Your Money

Mike talks about giving. What does your giving say about how much God and your salvation mean to you? How much do you know about how the church used the money you give?

The Mission of the Church

Todd talks about how Jesus showed the importance of us going out and spreading the word both through His own ministry as well as by instructing His disciples and those He came into contact with to go and tell others about Him and what He had done…

This week Gary talks about how God’s creation shows His power and majesty. Gary goes through the last few chapters of Job where God points out various aspects of His creation to Job.

Alec talks about the fact that many things change (and, indeed, some things should change), but God and His word do not change and we should not submit to change how we interpret what He says just to conform.

This is a skit (short play) that we produced for our church Open Sunday to show how people chase after all sorts of material things that don’t satisfy when all the time they just need to turn to Jesus to find what they are really looking for. When they do turn to Him, He will take away their burdens and quench their thirst.

This was based on Matt 11:28-30: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” [NASB]

Steve talks about: what is a Christian, why become a Christian, when to become a Christian and how to become a Christian

Dave talks about how a person’s life is affected when he or she becomes a Christian

A Rational Person

Alec talks about a rational person believing in God and the Bible

Dave talks about the contrast between the hierarchy of needs (and motivation) that Maslow spoke about, and the priorities that Jesus set for us.
